With her silky white shirt, loose fitting grey trousers and peep toe heels, Salma Hayek cut a stylish figure as she headed out for a family dinner in Beverly Hills on Tuesday night.The 47-year-old actress wore her long dark hair in a chic bun teamed with smokey brown eyeshadow and bright red lipstick for her meal at Mr Chow's.
The star was joined by her family - mother Diana and brother Sami - at the Los Angeles hot spot and the clan drove away together at the end of the night.
Salma was without her husband Francois-Henri Pinault with whom she has a six-year-old daughter Valentina.The star was enjoying a break before she begins promoting forthcoming films The Prophet and How To Make Love Like An Englishman co-starring Pierce Brosnan and Jessica Alba.
The Prophet is an animated film adapted from Kahlil Gibran's much-loved book and is produced by Salma.The actress also voices a character alongside Liam Neeson, John Krasinski, Frank Langella, Alfred Molina and Quvenzhané Wallis.The inspiring books of poetry essays has become renowned the world over since its original publication in 1923.
Chapters based on individual poems were each directed separately by different directors but overseen by Roger Allers who wrote the script.
'Everybody that became involved in the film has been touched by the book, and I can tell you, they did not do it for the money!' she told The Hollywood Reporter back in May. 'It's been quite a journey because usually, animation takes five years, and we did it in two.'
'My grandfather kept the book by the side of his table, so I know the cover of this book by heart, and it reminds me of him,' she added. 'I read it, and to me, it was like my grandfather was talking to me about life and teaching me about life through this book. I got to discover a lot about him after he was gone.'
